Sign up for a week of learning and fun at ETBA’s March Break Program. *All skill levels are welcome!!! *Not only is it about sports we’ve also incorporated self esteem, team building and mental health workshops in our camp! *participants will receive camp t - shirts, and awards . . . . Last week we held our first of many black mental h Last week we held our first of many black mental health workshop in 2023. These young black men were given the space to speak freely and share their thoughts on what their definition of mental health and mental illnesses is, the stigma surrounding mental illnesses, and how the affects of Covid - 19 played on their well being then and now. Creating a safe space for our young folks will always be a priority because this is were change begins; by listening. We’re absolutely grateful for Deneece from @blackhealthcan and Patheways to care Project for engaging with our Youth and making it a fun and interactive way of learning. . . . We’re looking forward to our next session in March. Please reach out to us if you’re a Youth who would like to join or a Parent who would like their child to join us! What an amazing Family Day weekend!!! . . We took What an amazing Family Day weekend!!! . . We took these young aspiring stars to see one of ETBA’s alumni @sd.loading play against University of Syracuse. Although @caneswbb didn’t get the win @sd.loading was a joy to watch. This moment was new for many being their first time crossing the boarder and watching a women’s Division 1 basketball game. Besides sharing laughs and hugs this opportunity got us to connect with our younger generation in a different setting and it allowed them to see where hard work and perseverance can take you! @sd.loading thank you for being an amazing example to these youngsters! Continue to grow and know we’ll always have your BACK! 🧡💚 . . Thank you to all those involved (especially parents) in making this trip such a memorable moment! .
